Mounting head with ball, built-in spirit level, and centre column. The ball has a diameter of 55 mm and can be tilted 30° in all directions. The centre column has a diameter of 25 mm. It is reversible. Camera plate, 68 mm in diameter, with lock screws. Large heights can be reached and near-to-ground work is possible by using the various centre columns. Extremely convenient when working on uneven ground. Double leg extension.

The report 9043 is probably the best tripod I have for my large format 4 x 5 and 8 x 10 cameras. I never have to worry about vibration when I'm using medium format (with large mirror slap) either. I have five tripods, some carbon, some lightweight aluminium, but it is the Ash wood Berlebach that I use inside or outdoors when I need stability, ease of operation and, not that this is a determining factor, but when I pull out a wooden tripod many people stop to watch me set-up.
One friend also has the same Berlebach tripod and she is totally content as well.
I highly recommend this model specifically and the Berlebach brand in general.
