UNI Astronomy with geared column Tripods for large binoculars
Product Description
Light-metal mounting head with geared centre column and circular bubble. Centre column length is 50 cm (39 cm adjustment range). Helical gearing on the centre column acts as an automatic column brake. Mounting plate diameter is 89 mm. With leg spread stops at 20°, 35°, 55° and 80°. The maximum height given below are that at an 20° leg spread and with the centre column fully extended.- Weight: 7,10 kg = 15.65 lbs.

"For my 80mm-126mm binoculars I have used aluminum or carbon fiber tripods for years. I bought the UNI 19C three years ago for my Docter Aspectem 40x80, Kowa Highlander 32x82 and VIxen BT 126. Vibration settling at 40X is just over a second. The quality and robustness are enviable. I think it's a product built to last for many years.
