Since it is a Multi-Row panorama head, spherical panoramas are no problem for the MR 190.
The horizontal plane (X-axis) is characterized by a functional scale which simplifies the alignment of the camera.
The vertical plane is aligned at 90° by a snap-in element when the device is tilted up, and is clamped backlash-free via a wing nut. A 15° snap-in stage had been designed for the adjustment of the nodal rail. A big hand wheel allows with little rotating movements an exact positioning and fixation at the same time, whereat also the safety of your equipments had been considered and a hasty unintended tilting is prevented.
The camera connection is constituted by the coupling model 110, which can be retained via a coin slot screw and moreover can be shifted by 90°. When you loosen this screw, it is possible to adjust the Z-axis, which must be adapted objective-specific in order to determine the nodal point.
The small number of operating elements provides clearness and contributes to intuitive usage.

"Since 2015 I have been using the panorama head MR190, mostly with the panoramic plate P103, to create multirow spherical panoramas. I use a full-frame camera and generally a 24-70mm F2.8 lens. The MR190's folding mechanism is ingenious for transport in a photo backpack and on a good tripod it is a very stable solution that can't be disturbed even by normal wind. Since the quick coupling 110 on the swivel arm is equipped with the spacer, it is not only absolutely torsion-proof, but also slightly increased compared to the swivel arm. This ensures that I can mount my camera on the MR190 with an attached F2.8 lens (82mm diameter). I can repeat the reproducibility of the settings, which is absolutely essential for panorama photography, so well that I can regularly reach distances of less than 0.4 pixels on average with PTGui. The swivel arm can only be adjusted in steps of 15°, but it can be adjusted precisely and with a high degree of stability. This is sufficient for focal lengths up to 110mm (full format). If this seems to be not enough, one should consider that a spherical panorama with this focal length already requires approx. 300 single images and can only be mastered of high quality by experienced specialists. For me, the MR190 panorama head is one of the rare devices that inspires in practice with every use."
