Product Description
Our tripod head for the astronomy sector allows for smooth height adjustment of loads up to 50 kg. With the geared center column (Ø 70 mm), mounts or large binoculars can be easily and safely adjusted in height (35 cm).The proven Astro tripods of the UNI model series are particularly known for their excellent price-performance ratio.
The spread angle is 24° with a non-adjustable spread lock.
Delivery includes spread lock (optional ring spreader, adjustable or non-adjustable).
For the adjustable and non-adjustable spread locks, a tray is included; for the ring spreader, it is not.
The greatest advantage of an adjustable spreader: over the entire working range, from minimum setup height to maximum, you always have an optimal, relatively uniform setup radius (leg triangle).
For all crank tripods, this can even be kept almost constant. That means: the user determines the leg extension length and spreader bar extension length of the spreader in the 3 stages before using the optics and then has their variable height through the column lift.
As of January 2022, there are two variants for attaching your equipment to the center column.
The base is always the connection flange, which, if necessary, can be expanded with an additional adapter to fit your equipment (for more information see the link below).
Delivery includes extractor.
